What is life?

God. Enlightenment. Truth. Shunyata. Mounam.

All these concepts… They’re like defined spaces among undefined spaces. And all that has been defined exists in our mind(s). Outside, these concepts have no validity or utility.

Not able to write more… It is so tough to write what you ‘know’. So much easier to write what you don’t know, or what you understand, or at least, pretend to understand.

Life = God = Love = Truth = Silence

It is not easy to define love much less life. If you ask someone in love to define how his love feels or is, he /she would stumble to find the right words to describe exactly what he/she feels lest it does not sound or come out exactly how it should be. How do you describe love when you cannot see it and is only felt? Likewise how do you explain life when love is life itself?

Love lends life to life. Holy Mother (popularly known as AMMA) has said “Love is the bindu—the centre-point of life.”

Love and love alone. When mutual love grows, Nature also will become peaceful.

I append a poem by Robert Browning on this subject of life and love which I feel is appropriate.

Life In A Love by Robert Browning
Escape me?
Never—
Beloved!
While I am I, and you are you,
So long as the world contains us both,
Me the loving and you the loth,
While the one eludes, must the other pursue.
My life is a fault at last, I fear—
It seems too much like a fate, indeed!
Though I do my best I shall scarce succeed—
But what if I fail of my purpose here?

It is but to keep the nerves at strain,
To dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall,
And baffled, get up to begin again,—
So the chase takes up one's life, that's all.
While, look but once from your farthest bound,
At me so deep in the dust and dark,
No sooner the old hope drops to ground
Than a new one, straight to the selfsame mark,
I shape me—
Ever
Removed!
